Research Interests
A complex nonlinear system is a system composed of many interacting parts which as a whole exhibits emerging properties beyond those of the individual parts. Examples include climate, nervous systems, cells and living things, ant colonies, human economies and social structures. The primary objective of research on nonlinear complex systems is to provide unified mathematical frameworks integrating interwoven themes of theory of dynamical systems, numerical modeling and analysis, and engineering and technology applications.
