Abstract
In Chem , Hou et al. demonstrate that regenerable Li/Ru interfaces, formed via a reversible lithium battery, thermally drive ammonia synthesis. This method achieves 2.4 mmolNH3 gRu−1 h−1 at ambient conditions with over 400-h stability, distinguishing thermocatalytic conversion from voltage-dependent electrochemical reduction. © 2026 Elsevier Inc.
