Abstract
Turbulence Dynamo as the Origin of Magnetic Fields in Clusters of Galaxies

Dongsu Ryu (UNIST)

Magnetic fields are ubiquitous in astrophysical environments. The distribution and strength of magnetic fields in the large-scale structure of the universe, especially in clusters of galaxies, have been established through various observations, such as Faraday rotation and synchrotron emission. Yet their origins are still under debate. In this talk, I discuss whether the magnetic fields observed in clusters of galaxies could be described by the small-scale turbulence dynamo amplification.
