Abstract
In this study, we conducted alkali hydrolysis on a sea-island type PET tricot fabricwith NaOH 25% omf at 100 oC for 30 min. After the alkali weight reduction was completed, dyeing of the sea-island type PET tricot fabric under various dyeing conditions was conductedto optimize the dyeing conditions for the color beige. The dyeing conditions wereinvestigated across various dye contents (0.03−0.06 % omf), dyeing temperatures (100−135 oC), dispersant contents (1−9 g/l), UV-absorbent contents (1–5 % omf), and reductioncleaning process conditions. We observed that washing, light, and rubbing colorfastness ofthe dyed beige-colored sea-island type PET tricot fabric was achieved for 4−5 grades.
