Abstract
Porous materials are positioned as a key platform in energy science. Recent additions to porous materials include metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), and zeolite imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs), both of which are emerging as highly tunable materials. In this presentation, I will survey new frontier research trends in porous platforms and further suggest remaining challenges in this exciting field, including its relevance in data science, and mechanical meta-materials.
