In this study, the microstructural characterization of the annealed YIG samples at 1400 oC for different times is performed using the EBSD techinque. Using the EBSD maps, information on the microstructural evolution and parameters due to annealing, including the grain size and texture, and grain boundary texture, were obtained in detai. Then, various magnetic properties, such as vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), ferromagetic resonance (FMR), were measured on the same samples. Based on the results, the correlation of microstructural parameters and magnetization properties was investigated. It was found out that a few magnetic properties varied as a function of average grain size of the samples while the other microstructural parameters showed the self-similarity.
