Abstract
This paper demonstrates the design of fully integrated 3-phase sinusoidal BLDC motor controller IC. To implement an BLDC controller IC, a 0.18μm BCDMOS process is used. The controller uses a look-up table to generate the sinusoidal waveform and achieved lower audible noise bt about 32% compared to the one with square waveform control.
