Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks and metal-organic polyhedra have been around for the past two decades, stirring materials communities to chase unprecedented structures and properties. Although these metal-organic materials (MOMs) share many common features, collaborative combination of these two class materials has been rarely attempted. In this presentation, I will introduce some of our efforts. to create new emergent properties originated from these MOMs ranging from mechanical metamaterials to drug delivery platform, and to proton conductors.
