Abstract
A burnup adaptation model has been developed in the STREAM/RASTK core analysis system. This model utilizes the reference data, usually the measuring data, and adjusts the burnup distribution to compensate the deviation of the code calculation to the real core operation data. The gradient descent method is adopted for the burnup adjustment optimization problem. The numerical tests on an OPR1000 core multi-cycle analysis demonstrate the performance of this burnup adaptation method.
