Identifying antecedents of GPO changes in U.S. hospitals

Abstract

This study seeks to unravel the imperatives that could lead to the change in a hospital’s sourcing strategy. Specifically, this study empirically investigates how a hospital’s internal and external factors such as environment, structure, leadership, and strategy are associated with a hospital’s decision on GPO changes.
