Abstract
3-HP (3-Hydroxypropionate) is an important platform chemical. It can be converted to industrial compounds such as acrylic amide, biodegradable polymer. Biological production of 3-HP has a great advantage in that it is eco-friendly and sustainable approach than organic synthesis. The most challenging pathway to produce 3-HP is Malonyl-CoA pathway. But low yield of 3-HP and declination of cell growth in Malonyl-CoA has observed. To overcome this limitation, evasion of lysine malonylation can be the key to solve to overcome Malonyl-CoA related negative effect.
