본 발명은 실리콘(Si), 알루미늄(Al) 및 산소(O) 원자를 포함하고, 상기 실리콘(Si) 원자의 함량이 중량비 기준으로 90% 이상인 실리콘 나노 구조체를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 종래의 실리콘 전극을 이용한 음극 활물질에 비하여 전극 용량을 향상시킬 수 있다.
