본 발명은 비대칭 나노 디스크를 이용하여 하나의 디스크에 많은 정보를 저장하는 비대칭 나노 디스크를 이용한 단위 정보 저장 장치 및 정보 저장 장치를 제공하는 것을 그 목적으로 한다.
상기의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은, 퍼멀로이 재질인 비대칭 형상의 나노 디스크; 전류 또는 자기장을 인가하여 상기 나노 디스크에 수평자화를 형성하는 제1전선; 및 상기 제1전선과 수직으로 배치되고 전류 또는 자기장을 인가하여 상기 나노 디스크에 수직자화를 형성하는 제2전선;을 포함한다.
