본 발명은, 활물질 및 이의 표면처리 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로, 본 발명은, 리튬을 포함하는 제1 금속산화물, 및 제2 금속산화물을 포함하는 코팅층으로 표면처리된 활물질 및 이의 표면처리 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은, 활물질 상에 안정적인 코팅층이 형성되고, 전지의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 활물질을 제공할 수 있다.
