본 발명은 유전체-금속 나노입자 복합체를 포함하는 광 흡수체, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 물분해 광전극에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 금속기판; 상기 금속기판 상에 증착된 유전체 및 금속 나노입자로 이루어진 광흡수 필름; 및 상기 광흡수 필름 상에 증착된 조촉매 층;을 포함하는, 유전체-금속 나노입자 복합체를 포함하는 광 흡수체를 제공한다.
본 발명에 따른 유전체-금속 나노입자 복합체를 포함하는 광 흡수체는 유전체와 금속 나노입자의 분율 조절을 통해 광특성 및 광전류 특성을 조절할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
