본 발명은 불균일계 촉매의 제조방법, 그 방법으로 제조된 촉매를 이용한 과황산염의 활성화 방법 및 그 방법으로 제조된 촉매를 이용한 오염물질의 처리방법에 관한 것으로, 금속염과 알루미늄염(aluminum chloride)을 혼합시키는 단계, 상기 혼합시킨 혼합물에 탄산염(sodium carbonate)을 첨가하는 단계 및 상기 첨가에 의해 형성된 침전물을 소결(calcination)하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명에 의하면 모든 pH 범위에서 효과적으로 과황산염을 활성화 하여 설페이트 라디칼 및 활성산소종을 생성하고, 이를 통해 난분해성 오염물질을 효과적으로 제거할 수 있다.
