본 발명은 리튬이온전지용 기능성 전해액 및 이를 포함하는 리튬이온전지에 관한 것으로, 유기 용매; 리튬(Li) 염; 및 첨가제를 포함하는 리튬이온전지용 기능성 전해액에 관한 것이다.
보다 구체적으로, 본 발명은 상기 기능성 전해액에 포함되는 첨가제가 환원 분해되어, 음극 표면에 보호막을 형성함에 따라, 전해액의 분해 및 부반응을 감소시킬 수 있고, 음극 표면에 균일한 보호막을 형성하여 전해액과 음극과의 부반응을 효과적으로 억제하여, 탄소계 및 비탄소계 음극과 층상형 양극으로 구성된 리튬이온전지의 전기화학적 수명성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 기반을 제공할 수 있다.
