Abstract
Fine-tuning the electronic states of metal atoms is an effective strategy for optimizing catalyst performance but remains a challenge for heterogeneous catalysts. In this issue of Chem Catalysis, Duan, Sun, and co-workers report the exquisite electronic perturbation of atomically dispersed Au on functionalized graphdiyne for optimal H2O2 production.
