Through recent advances on metamaterials, new wave devices, called hyperlenses, have been developed. They can break the Abbe-Rayleigh limit and allow extremely high resolution at a far field. Researches on hyperlenses have been mainly carried out for electromagnetic1,2 and acoustic3 waves but researches on elastic hyperlenses are rare. Especially, the realization and experimental validation of elastic hyperlenses have not been reported until recently. In this presentation, we will present some recent developments made in elastic hyperlenses; we will discuss the first realization, experiment and design optimization of elastic hyperlenses.
