Abstract
In recently, medical treatment and diagnosis benefit from IT technologies ranging from tiny pill sensor devices to permanent implanted devices. Capsule endoscopy technology is growing as alternative to traditional gastro-intestinal endoscopy. Most benefit from the capsule endoscopy compared to previous technique is minimal discomfort and do not need sedation. Many commercial capsule endoscopy devices have still limited functions without locomotion, actuator, etc. Among the choices for power supply arrangement, wireless power transfer technology is providing an alternative promising solution for supplying power to medically implanted devices. In
this paper, wireless power transfer technology for medical device is analyzed.
