Abstract
Fuel cell have been estimated as a clean energy system and solution of energy problem in the future. In order to occur an energy, oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is required. The best catalyst for ORR is platinum but it has critical problem like low stability and high price to apply fuel cell industry. Many researchers have suggested a lot of alternative ORR catalyst such as Pt facet-controlled, non-precious metal composite, non-metal catalyst etc. Among the strategies, non-precious metal and C-N composite shows superior performance as much as platinum in basic condition. However, the stability was quite low as increasing cycle. Here, we synthesize Fe@DPH-HKH which iron encapsulated in two-dimensional frameworks through aromatization by using Lewis acid. The C-N bond held on iron particle, which can help to maintain the ORR performance and stability over 10,000 cycle in acidic and basic environment.
