Abstract
In this paper, a stent-based in-vivo bio-sensing microsystem including a medical implant communication service (MICS) and a wireless power transfer (WPT) platform is proposed. Conventional bio-marker monitoring method, such as blood pressure detecting or glucose level monitoring, suffer from accuracy, limited number of sampling, and pain. Proposed method involves one time procedural insertion of the microsystem, offering accurate and constant monitoring without pain. In this paper, in-vivo bio-sensing microsystem is introduced with focus on the MICS and WPT platform implementation. For minimal size, a delay locked loop (DLL) with output frequency of 400 MHz is designed. In order to supply power to MICS and in-vivo sensors, a WPT receiver chip including rectifier and regulator is implemented. The WPT receiver can provide 2.4 V output
