Abstract
We demonstrated the heterolayered nanomat-based hierarchical/asymmetric porous membranes with synergistically coupled chemical functionalities as a nanocellulose-mediated green material approach. The c-mat separator, driven by its structural/chemical uniqueness, is anticipated to make exceptional progress in transport phenomena and electrochemical performances far beyond those achievable with conventional membrane technologies. © 2017 TAPPI Press.
