Abstract
The enhancement of photoluminescence intensity of Mn doped ZnGa2O4 powders after leaching was presented. The excitation spectrum was recorded by scanning an excitation wavelength from 200 to 700 nm and the emission wavelength was fixed at 506 nm. It was observed that surface containing Mn activators in proper form possessed a high intensity in emission. Removal of Zn-Ga and defect layer by leaching increased the emission intensity.
