Soft (flexible/stretchable) electronics are highly demanded by a wide range of future applications that cannot be easily achieved from traditional rigid/brittle/planar electronics such as e-skin, wearable electronics, bio-implantable devices, personalized healthcare system, etc. We mainly focus on developing various organic semiconductor-based stretchable semiconductor and stretchable electronics materials based on chemical knowledge, and do research on soft electronics using it. Besides, we are spending much effort into pursuing the realization of various deformable electronics and innovative applications through interdisciplinary studies.
