- Lab Description
- In the Design Futures Lab, we critically investigate the implications of emerging AI technologies on people and society, and explore designerly interventions to shape AI futures that people truly want. While we embrace new possibilities enabled by AI, we also question and challenge dominant assumptions and practices surrounding technology-driven development. Leveraging human-centered and participatory design approaches, we collaborate with diverse stakeholders to co-create responsible and meaningful ways of embedding AI into everyday life. Through this process, we aim to generate practical knowledge and methodologies for designing meaningful human experiences with future AI products, services, and systems.
