Research Interests
Intelligent Manufacturing and Materials (IMM) Lab aims to develop material, components and system with artificial intelligence and 3d printing technology to realize digitalization of current manufacturing industries. We develop self-cognitive metal via additive manufacturing to enable big data generation from metal components and apply neural network technology for ultimate prediction of parts deformation, temperature, vibration, fatigue or fracture. In addition, we aims to develop nano materials and components to develop for 3d printing of battery, IoT sensors or semiconductor components which can lead to revolution of previous stacking based manufacturing of electric components. With the comprehensive understanding of A.I., manufacturing and materials, integrated sense of research is raised in this 4th industrial revolutionary age.
