Research Interests
Our mission is to develop state-of-the-art biomaterials based on multi-functional biopolymers and nano- & micro-structures that are innovative and yet also practical for various biomedical applications, such as tissue engineering, drug delivery, and biosensors. To realize our goal, we are using highly interdisciplinary research efforts, encompassing the principles of organic chemistry, physics, biochemistry, materials science and engineering. We aim to achieve groundbreaking discoveries that can have a huge impact on our lives, and develop the next generation of scientists and engineers.
