Research Interests
YK Group is researching an energy storage system that helps to utilize it efficiently according to the development of a renewable energy system. The ultimate goal is to develop an energy conversion / storage system that is competitively priced, highly efficient, long-life, environmentally friendly and can be commercially available. To achieve this goal, new materials are created, and even existing materials are applied to new systems such as new processes and manufacturing methods. The most important thing in this process is not just to develop new materials for research, but to do research that actually helps in this area. The professor's research philosophy coincides with the vision of the Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology, “A global leader in science and technology that contributes to fostering the future of creative science and technology as a global leader in pioneering the future”. In fact, compared to other laboratories, our laboratories have many patent applications and registrations.
