Dept. of Electrical Engineering aims to make human life more enjoyable, safe, convenient, and socially connected by researching and developing the hardware and software technologies required for information, communication, and electronics industries. The field of Electrical Engineering deals with everything from solid-state devices to software algorithms. Major research areas include communications and networking, control and robotics, image processing and computer vision, digital and analog circuit design, electromagnetics, power electronics, and electronics and photonics devices.
