dc.description.abstract Radio bridge region in pre-merging galaxy clusters Abell 399-401 in MWA observations

Galaxy clusters form through successive mergers in the hierarchical formation of the large-scale structure (LSS) of the universe. Recent observations have revealed the presence of megaparsec-scale diffuse radio emissions in the region connecting pre-merging galaxy clusters, called ``radio bridge’’. So far, only a few cases have been identified, and one of which is a radio bridge between galaxy clusters Abell 399-401, observed using LOFAR at 144MHz. The radio emission is currently explained as synchrotron radiation by cosmic ray electrons produced via turbulence acceleration. Using archived data of the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) observations at 118MHz (~12 hours) and 154MHz (~10 hours), we have tried to reproduce the radio bridge in Abell 399-401. In addition, we have examined radio bridges in simulations of large-scale stucture formation. In this talk, we present preliminary results from MWA data analysis along with the simulation work.
