Abstract
In the June issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America, Yang and co-workers designed an electrochemical-photovoltaic architecture for unbiased, bacterial sequential reactions. This work demonstrates a sustainable approach for whole-cell artificial photosynthesis through CO2 and N2 fixation. © 2022 Elsevier Inc.
