| dc.description.abstract |
The bifunctional catalysts has been actively studied to develop promising and effective rechargeable metal-air batteries. The scandium-doped perovskite oxide was synthesized via the Pechini method and the electrocatalytic effect of scandium doping was investigate by the several methods. According to the X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, the perovskite phase changed from a layered structure to a simple structure with increased scandium doping content. The rotating ring disk electrode (RRDE) results referred that the ORR current density of scandium-doped perovskite oxide is comparable with that of the state of the art Pt / C catalyst. OER performance was also improved in terms of onset potential, current density and stability. Interestingly, the Zn-air battery performance using scandium-doped perovskite oxides showed better performance than that of using non-doped catalyst. |
