dc.description.abstract |
Today, personal mobility vehicles (PMVs) has increasingly attracted with a new emerging individual mobility industry. The personal mobility is suitable for transportation to a single passenger or small loads. Consequently, many types of PMV s have been developed. However, the PMVs is not appropriate indoor mobility because it is unstable and fast. In this research, we suggest an innovative design of personal mobility indoor. Particularly, it has following several design features. First, autonomous driving and passenger’s driving is convertible for control. It is normally traveling without a human operator. When a passenger wants to board and drive on the personal mobility, they are able to control it. Second, it is friendly convenient to use for everyone as well as children and elderly. Third, we propose easy-to-use control and novelty beyond typical controls. This research envisions a future where the indoor transportation is dominated by new perspective of personal mobility. |
