Abstract
This paper presents a multi-target tracking algorithm for applying to Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) radar system in a dense cluttered noisy environment. Multi-target tracking using passive approach radar systems faces various complexities due to difficulties in identifying the measurement origin and clutter signals which contaminate the measurements. To cope with the problems, linear multi-target integrated probabilistic data association (LM-IPDA) algorithm is applied to the UWB radar system to identify target signals and estimate target trajectories. Signal processing methods for impulse-radio UWB (IR-UWB) are introduced with LM-IPDA algorithm. The simulation validation is performed to verify the performance of multi-target tracking algorithm.
