In this work, implantable biosensor for continuous monitoring of blood sugar level using miniature microwave sensor is presented. Contrary to the conventional in vivo sensors to measure blood sugar level directly from blood, the present bio implant sensor measures sugar level in interstitial fluid. The perdition accuracy can be significantly improved based on our regression and correlation model with a shorter calibration time. The RF sensor is operating in industrial scientific medical (ISM) band and compatible with existing technology in terms of hardware and software architecture. © 2019 IEEE. |
