dc.description.abstract We presented the design of a 190 GHz second harmonic gyrotron capable of generating few kWs of power in a mode-pair TE 8,3 and TE 11,2 at fixed magnetic field and different operating voltages. Conventional cavity with two sinusoidal perturbations has been used to reduce the mode competition from fundamental mode. It is designed for the conceptual study of OAM communication using gyrotron mode. -
