dc.description.abstract Kamijo et al. [1991] studied the rolling and the recrystallization textures of a copper single crystal having (123)[-6-3 4] orientation. The sharp original (123)[-6-3 4] component was maintained in the crystals cold-rolled up to 95%, but the orientation spread suggesting the occurrence of slip rotation toward a strong component of (321)[-436] and weak components of {112}〈111〉 took place after 99.5% cold-rolling. When annealed at 538K, the recrystallization texture that is composed of the (001)[100] orientation, the near (03-1)[100] orientation, and the retained rolling texture component was formed in the 99.5% cold-rolled specimen. The (001)[100] orientation is supposed to be linked with the {112}〈111〉 texture while the near (03-1)[100] orientation to be linked with the (123)[-6-3 4] and (321)[-436] orientations, respectively. The results are discussed based on the strain energy release maximization model, in which the recrystallization texture is determined such that the absolute maximum principal stress direction due to dislocations in the deformed state is along the minimum elastic modulus directions in recrystallized grains. -
