- 플라즈마파 트랜지스터의 성능을 평가하는 방법은, 게이트 오버드라이브 전압(gate over drive voltage)에 의해 조정되는 플라즈마파 속도(plasma wave velocity)를 제 1 축으로 설정하고, 드레인-소스 전압(drain-to-source voltage)에 의해 조정되는 전자 표류 속도(electron drift velocity)를 제 2 축으로 설정하고, 채널 길이(Channel length)를 제 3 축으로 설정하며, 제 1 축, 제 2 축 및 제 3 축 간의 관계식에 기반하여 상기 플라즈마파 트랜지스터의 성능 파라미터 값의 변화에 따라 플라즈마파 트랜지스터가 테라헤르츠 이미터(terahertz emitter)로서 동작하는지 여부를 검사한다.
