dc.description.abstract Along with the several Handover protocol is implemented in the simple network architecture. We need to consider how to implement it in the complex network with quality of service. In this paper, we assume the intra-MAP handover is satisfied with QoS requirement of real-time application (less than 150ms), using the advance handover protocol, ie fast handover protocol. We take effort to guarantee the Qos and improve the wireless network performance by proposing a sophisticated MAP selection scheme in hierarchical Mobile IPv6 networks. We will propose the service time and velocity based MAP selection scheme. We also show that the proposed MAP scheme is better than HMIPv6 and other schemes in the common cases by mathematic analysis. -
