dc.description.abstract |
work, the dispersion relation of the elastic guided waves in magnetostrictive phononic crystal under inplane magnetic field induction is calculated. The fully-coupled magneto-elastic FEM is employed to a phononic crystal made of a nickel plate with square-arrayed hole. For exact calculation of the dispersion relation, piezomagnetic coupling coefficients of each element in the crystal are determined from the induced magnetic field distribution. The dispersion relation is investigated for both the cases with and without the inplane magnetic field induction. The analysis results show that the band-gap of the crystal is changed significantly by the magnetic field induction. |
