| dc.description.abstract | 분산 시스템 환경에서 높은 성능과 신뢰성을 제공하기 위해 나온 개념이 소프트웨어 RAID 형태의 파일시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 RAID 파일 시스템에서 스트라이핑이 시스템 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴본다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 시스템의 성능을 최대화하기 위해서는 소프트웨어 RAID 파일 시스템에 의해 제공되는 유연성(flexibility)의 잇점을 취해야 할 필요가 있음을 발견하고 유연성을 제공하는 스트라이핑 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 스트라이핑 방법은 입출력 요구 파일의 크기에 따라 RAID 1과 RAID 4 형태로 유연성있게 동작하는 기법이다. 이러한 스트라이핑 방법과 고정된 스트라이핑 방법들과의 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통해 비교한다. 실험을 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 스트라이핑 방법이 모든 형태의 작업부하에 대해 효율적인 성능을 나타내는 것을 확인한다. | - |
