dc.description.abstract We propose a metal-oxide-silicon-oxide-metal (MOSOM) waveguide that is a hybrid plasmonic waveguide, and we discuss its fabrication process based on standard CMOS fabrication tools. The characteristics of the MOSOM waveguide mode are theoretically investigated. -
