dc.description.abstract In this paper, a fast statistical eye-diagram estimation method for high-speed single-ended channel including non-linear pseudo-differential receiver buffer circuit is proposed. For fast BER calculation, the optimal-sized sets of receiver input and external noises for one unit-interval are employed. Moreover, the analytical models for the non-linear pseudo-differential receiver buffer output are derived based on piece-wise linear approximated MOS I-V curves. Fast estimation time and accuracy of the proposed method are successfully verified by comparing to the transient simulation results. At the end of this paper, the statistical eye-diagrams and timing bathtub curves of high-speed silicon, glass and organic interposer channels are efficiently estimated, compared and analyzed based on the proposed method. -
