dc.description.abstract The developments in the organic material synthesis of versatile conjugated polymers have made magnificent improvements toward noteworthy features in organic field-effect transistors (OFETs). Among the high-performing conjugated building units, naphthalenediimide (NDI)-containing polymers show high electron transporting property with high co-planarity, boosting the growth in n-channel OFETs. However, to realize the commercial validity of the n-channel OFETs, NDI polymers should be necessary to possess the operating stability under the severe atmosphere including high-temperature, air, and moisture stabilities to oxidizing agents such as O2 or H2O. Herein, we present a molecular synthetic strategy for high air stability by controlling the degree of fluoride contents within the NDI-containing polymer, being one step ahead further toward commercialization. -
