dc.description.abstract |
The method for analyzing color characteristics of plasma display panel (PDP) is proposed considering the automatic power control (APC) level changes. First, all the patches required to the analysis were represented in one screen. In this way, it can be guaranteed that the same APC level is applied for all the colors. The APC level is controlled by changing the background colors. Second, the effect of spatial non-uniformity is considered. The weighting factors are calculated for each position by comparing the measured data of white patches. Then, the calculated weighting factors are applied to the measured data to compensate spatial non-uniformity. |
