dc.description.abstract Supraspherical aggregates of crosslinked metal nanoparticles are transformed into pancakes and nanorods by mechanical stresses and shears imparted by macroscopic objects (see image). The dimensions of both types of nanostructures can be controlled by the pressures applied. -
