dc.description.abstract An effective and high-yielding synthesis of an air stable tetrapodal octaamine, a rigid shape-persistent molecule with four ortho-phenylenediamine moieties is reported. It can be potentially transformed into a wide range of benzimidazole, benzotriazole, and pyrazine derivatives for practical applications. -
