dc.description.abstract We obtain k-th moments of logarithmic derivatives of two kinds of families of L-functions. For a family of Sd+1-fields, where Sd+1 is the symmetric group on (d + l)-letters, it is asymptotic to a constant. For a suitable parametric family, it is asymptotic to (log log X)(k). In the last section, we obtain k-th moments of logarithm of Artin L-functions. We obtain the distribution of logarithmic derivatives and logarithms of L-functions by the method of moments. -
