Abstract
We developed a new code that calculates the evolution of the angular momentum accurately in accretion flows in a two-dimensional cylindrical geometry. With the code, supersonic accretion flows with small amounts of angular momentum were simulated. Our simulations showed that an accretion shock formed and that the structure with the shock was dynamically unstable. The instability could provide an explanation for quasi-periodic oscillations in the black holes of galactic microquasars
